Hi friends,
We’re back in the lower 48. We spent the last week driving from Whitehorse, Yukon to Port Townsend, Washington. Mostly along the ALCAN. It was a lot of driving and only a few pit stops, but here are some photos.
Our crossing back into the US was uneventful; we got through early enough that we stopped in Bellingham for lunch before we had to hit the ferry across to Port Townsend.
Just kind of a long week of getting from point A to point B. We’ve been camping outside Port Townsend for the last three nights trying to avoid the worst of the heat wave currently beseiging Puget Sound. It worked, for the most part. We popped into town, had some amazing tacos at Green Crow, a beer or two at Anchor, then drove a few loops with the aircon blasting.
We’re in Seattle for a wedding this weekend then heading down to Colorado after that. More to come!
See y’all out there!
