There are C-clips that hold the axle to the hub. They wear out over time and can cause bearing chatter. I greased the hubs when we were in town and just forgot to do the clips so I was doing that. Takes about 10 minutes per side.
So much beauty everywhere!! I am sure the pictures are not near as breathtaking as it is in person!! It sounds like you both had a lot of driving/riding these last several days.
The pizza does look delicious, and I am sure you guys thoroughly enjoyed it!
